Syed Shahbaz Ashraf is a DOP, cinematographer, and editor and has worked for a huge number of movies, serials, advertisement films, documentaries.  He has 25 years experience as a freelance cinematographer & editor in all formats i.e. 35mm (Cinemascope), 16mm, beta, digi beta H.D., etc. 

He is a member of EICA (Eastern india Cinematographer’s Association) and has

18 years of association with various satellite news & sports channels in india.  He has worked as technical head, media consultant & system integrator (new satellite channel set-up) for Kolkata TV (Bengali), Taaza TV (Hindi), Newstime (Bengali), ESPN (Kolkata), Ten Sports (Kolkata), etc.

He has shot corporate and in-house films for big houses, including Andrew Yule, Port Trust, Bata, I.T.C. Peerless, etc.  He has shot scores of advertisement and documentary films.
